My Right in Reparations Campaign
Project Description:
The project “My Right in Reparations Campaign” provided awareness raising activities to CRSV Yazidi women and girls’ survivors, their families and communities about the right of CRSV survivors in reparations from the state. This campaign used different tools to promote the right of reparations in both community and governmental levels by Conducting information sessions on reparations with 200 of CRSV Yazidi women and girls’ survivors and their families. Conducting outreach (door to door) activity for more than 500 individuals in the community. Conducting 9 days capacity building training covering the topics of Right of Reparations, Life skills, and Negotiation skills for 15 women and girls survivors that we selected to become voice of survivors. Moreover, this project encouraged this group of CRSV survivors to become representatives for survivors were they engaged in awareness raising and advocacy process of this initiative and others related to reparations where they participated in visits to related institution as part of this project and also they took active part in the final event of this project.
