Dak Organisation has completed a series of trainings on communication, leadership, transitional justice, women’s rights advocacy, and UNSCR 1325 . The trainings were conducted for 15 women from different minorities in Nineveh Plain and Duhok Governorate and lasted for 12 days. The satisfaction of participants was very high after completion of the trainings as they support them in building their capacities and enabling them to support their community members, especially women and girls.
This trainings are a part of the project “Activating and Strengthening the Role of Minority Women in Implementing the Agenda of Women, Security and Peace” in partnership with Cordaid through Women Voices First programme, with the support of the UKaid.
