Vocational training to develop women’s skills
Dak Organization opened a vocational training (cooking) for 15 returnees and internally displaced women in Sinjar and Sununi, where the training focuses on the basics of cooking, on how to cook and make sweets. The training aims to develop women’s skills to enhance their access to livelihoods and decent work.
This training is part of the project “Promoting Protection and Livelihoods for Displaced and Returnee Ethnic and Religious Minority Women and Children in Sinjar.” The project is implemented by Dak Organization in partnership with CARE Iraq and funded by FMoFA, this project provides protection and livelihoods for IDPs and returnee women and children in Sinjar.
