Vocational training (agriculture) in Sinjar
Dak Organization concluded a vocational training (Agricultural) for 19 returnees and internally displaced women in Sinjar and Sununi, The training focused on the fundamentals of agriculture, the value and advantages of livestock, beekeeping and honey production methods, modern agricultural techniques, and crop-growing environments. Within 45 days of training, all participants gained new vocational skills and received a certificate of participation. In addition, a group of participants were selected to receive small grant initiatives and start their own businesses, to enhance their access to livelihoods and decent work.
This training is part of a project implementing by Dak Organization in partnership with CARE Iraq and funded by FMoFA, the project provides protection and livelihoods for IDPs and returnee women and children in Sinjar.
