Our president, Mrs. Sozan Safar, took part in a meeting on the Kurdistan Region’s implementation plan for Resolution 1325. And in the presence of the Secretary-General of the high Council for the Development of Women, Dr. Khanzad Ahmed. Several representatives of civil society organizations engaged in the Dohuk Governorate’s implementation of the women, peace, and security agenda. Ms. Sozan Safar, a representative in Board 1325, provided an explanation of the workings of the Kurdistan Region Board as well as the key accomplishments and projects that have been undertaken since the publication of the 2021 plan.
