The Festival under the logo of (Under the slogan of women peacemakers), Dak Organization in partnership with UPP conducted this activity in Ninawa Plain in Bashiq and Bahzani. This activity was conducted for one day on April 21, 2018. The activity was done by participating 30 women from different component (Yazidi, Christians, Shabak and Kakay) from the region by presenting a different kind of traditional food and wearing traditional clothes. The total number of attendees were 330 individuals including 37 disabled people from Bashiqa and Bahzani. The activity consists of various parts such as: Organization’s speech, dancing, music, entertainment part and presenting food and everyone was engaged in the activity. The contribution of all component was very positive and peaceful. The result of activity was giving space to all component to have chance to be more close to each other after their return to their original place and learn to live in coexistence again and reach the massage of peacbuilding by volunteering those 30 women from Basiqa, Bahzani and Villages around iwho spent their time in a peacemaking spiritual and shared it with others to initiate in peacemaking in the region.
