Dak Organization has successfully completed the training on ”feminist concepts and how to advocate for feminist issues” as part of the project ”Developing and building the capacities of women and girls in Sinjar through workshops and training on women’s rights, feminist and leadership concepts.” funded by the Embassy of Canada in Iraq. The training was conducted in five days from November 25 to November 30, 2021 for 10 women from Sinjar. The training aimed to build the capacities of participants women in feminist concepts, communication skills, leadership, and how to advocate for feminist issues. The satisfaction of participants was very high after completion of the training and they were demanding conducting more similar training as it supports them in building their capacities and strengthening their personalities and enabling them to support their community members, especially women and girls.
