The goal of the project “Communities in Dialogue in Sharya” is to contribute meaningfully to non-violent coexistence of the population groups in Duhok governorate. The project plans to systematically create safe spaces and platforms for encounter, exchange, learning and dialogue, primarily for youth and women, in order to make the best possible use of peace potentials in the communities to promot non-violent conflict transformation and community building measures. Regular exchange between young people and women across community/city borders is expencted to strengthen tolerance and acceptance among communities, and help find common narratives.
